http://home.pchome.com.tw/tv/muauto/IMG_0009.AVI

thats one example, weird thing is that i cant see his bottom screen changing brightness, but i think its just the crappy viewing angle.

also notice that the brightness cannot be turned off if flashed in a normal DS, while it has levels of brightness. it is said while the one in the video have adjustable lighting, not all version of DS can realize this function. i have only seen 2 or 3 cases of success. others include no effect and/or the ability to turn off the light is comepletely disabled. but when flashed back to v6, the off/on function works again.

fake is unlikely, this guy has this video on his yahoo taiwan's auction marketplace. and he has a garuntee =/

newest moonshell has code to change the brightness of a ds lite, doesn't it?
try running that code on a regular ds and see what happens.

Video looks fake to me, sound + brightness change are not in sync first and second time.

I don't mean with the video , I mean during the first pass and the second pass timing is different both times ( or he modded a Lite to his old DS case

FlashMe makes the brightness fade in on a normal DS, I don't see what's so unbelievable about this.

Actually, FlashMe does fade in the light using pulse-width modulation (rapid on-off switching), but that works only for fades, not for constant setting.

DS Lite + DS case = Old DS that has brightness adjustment ;)

i personally would like to see a video that has the power light. so we can see if it is on. Funny how he cut that part out. DS lite power light in different spot, just think its funny.
